Places Covered: Delhi – Srinagar – Sonmarg – Gulmarg – Pahalgam
Day1 - Arrive Delhi
Welcome on arrival at Delhi international airport and transfer to hotel.
Day2 - Delhi
After breakfast, guided tour of historic city of Delhi. The city where one can experience the influence of the many rulers who ruled this region, a city built and destroyed and re-built over seven times. The tour includes the magnificent Red Fort, the Jama Masjid, Asia's largest mosque, Humanyun Tomb, Birla Mandir, Qutab Minar, drive through India Gate, President’s House and Connaught Place. Evening, see Son-et-Lumerie at Red Fort (optional). Overnight at hotel.
Day3 - Delhi – Srinagar (by flight)
Breakfast at Hotel. Transfer to the domestic airport to catch a flight to Srinagar. On arrival at Srinagar, you will be met by our representative and transferred you to the houseboat. Afternoon free for personal activities. In the evening Shikara ride on Dal Lake to enjoy the sunset. Overnight at Houseboat.
Day4 - Srinagar – Local sightseeing (50 kms)
Half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). Return to houseboat for hot lunch. In the afternoon Shikara ride on the Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. You will get a view of some very interesting places around the Lake. Overnight at Houseboat.
Day5 - Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar (84 kms)
Leave after breakfast for a 3 hours drive to Sonmarg. On the way stopover at scenic spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2690 mtrs (Meadow of Gold). Lunch at hotel. Optional one can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. Overnight at hotel.
Day6 - Sonmarg - Gulmarg (139 kms)
Leave after breakfast 4/5 hours drive will take you to Gulmarg via Srinagar. By lunch you will be at the Gulmarg. Afternoon enjoy the cable car ride from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg. Overnight at hotel.
Day7 - Gulmarg – Pahalgam (149 kms)
Leave after breakfast from Gulmarg 2440 mtrs. On the way visit Saffron field and Avantipur ruins, which is 1100 yrs old temple. Reach Pahalgam by lunchtime, which is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Enjoy the nature charm of the valley. Overnight at hotel.
Day8 - Pahalgam
Day to enjoy the beauty of the Pahalgam Valley. Overnight at hotel
Day9 - Pahalgam - Srinagar (103 kms) – Delhi (flight)
Leave after breakfast for Srinagar Airport, which will take about 3 hours to reach the airport to connect flight onto Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, transfer to the hotel for wash 'n' change and proceed to international airport for connecting flight to onward destination.
